Dr. Ahanth Vedantham is a highly trained and double board-qualified Podiatric surgeon. He completed his bachelor at Loyola University in Chicago and Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
Dr. Vedantham continued his training and completed a comprehensive 3-year surgical residency at Ascension
St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chicago, where he served as chief resident during his final year, and contributed toward a competitive residency that worked with and trained under 100 staff attendings across 22 training facilities. Dr. Vedantham’s experience included extensive training in foot and ankle trauma, total ankle replacement and ankle arthroscopy, complex reconstructive surgery, limb salvage, diabetic wound care, bunion surgery, and external fixation.
Dr. Vedantham’s philosophy emphasizes on conservative management and having an approach to surgical management that uses evidence based research. Diagnosing and treating foot and ankle diseases with the most up to date care and latest advancements is what Dr. Vedantham believes in care for his patients. Being a Chicagoland native, Dr. Vedantham is excited to continue serving his community. Dr. James Kozeny is a highly trained, compassionate podiatrist with a devotion to helping patients live pain free and returning them to their desired quality of life. Utilizing a patient-centered approach, he strives to ensure each individual’s foot and ankle concerns are addressed and treated.
Dr. Kozeny received his Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from DePaul University prior to achieving his podiatric medical degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL. Dr. Kozeny further expanded his skillset by completing a 3-year forefoot and rearfoot surgical residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, IL where he served as chief resident during his final year.
Although he enjoys everything podiatric medicine has to offer, Dr. Kozeny has a special interest in sports injuries, foot/ankle trauma, bunion and hammertoe surgery, wound care, as well as treatment and prevention of diabetic foot conditions.
Being a Roselle native, Dr. Kozeny learned of his passion for the profession as a long-time patient of Dr. Carioscia’s throughout the 2000’s. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing ice hockey, golfing, fishing, weight lifting, watching sports and playing guitar.
